Suggest Treatment For A Pain In Mouth After Tooth Extraction

A year ago i had an tooth extraction and ever since i have been experiencing pain in my mouth, neck, temple, jaw is swollen. it has now moved to my shoulder area, and pain has traveled to the other side of my mouth. Im in constant pain in all of the sinus areas of my face.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pain in mouth after tooth extraction which is very common as force required for extraction is very much, usually it will take around one week for proper healing of socket. Symptoms such as jaw swelling occurs is because of less compression after tooth extraction. Other systems are very uncommon after extraction, it seems to be bacteremia and septicemia. Need not to worry. . Keep applying ice packs on jaw line on daily basis. I would suggest you to visit dentist/ oral and maxillofacial surgeon once again and get it examined completely and start treatment accordingly. You should go for OPG as well.
