Suggest Treatment For A Painful Bump On The Buttock

Hi, im a 36 year old female my question Is i found a red painful bump between my butt cheeks. I do sweat a lot and have to wear a pantyliner 24/7 due to a leaky bladder it just starte a few days ago. Ive also recently been put on a few meds due to sciatic pain. Do i need to worry about this pimple or is there somethin . OTC i can use?

Hi!! According to your history it seems to be a furuncle which is a bacterial infection. You should use neosporin ointment on the bump twice daily and can have ibuprofen for pain relief. I would recommend you to take oral antibiotic as well like amoxycillin but I am not sure whether it will be available as over the counter in your country. You should also go for hot fermentation of the affected area. This will surely help you.
