Suggest Treatment For A Painful Bump On The Knee

I have a quite large bump in the middle of my right knee cap. I was injured from a fall in 2007. It changes colors and pain shoots down to my right foot constantly. I m afraid it cancer. I ve tried every cream, spray and Aspercreme with lidocaine nothing touches it. Could it be cancer?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The bump is due to bone injury while you fell. Bone injury takes long to heal. Please get X-ray done to note type of injury followed by needful specific treatment Pain shooting down your foot does not seem to be related to knee problem must be some injury to hip/spine at the same fall.please get that checked too with a orthopedic doctors advise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
