Suggest Treatment For A Painful Bump On The Scrotum

Hi..I have a large pea sized bump right at the end of my scortum. It really pains a lot. Previously i had it on the left side and puss came out and i cleaned it with dettol and applied soframycin....that was fine then but this started again on the right side after 2 weeks and now it hurts a lot. I was advised by the pharmacy to take MOX...tablets ...what should i do?

Welcome to the forum.
Your description fits with one of the common swellings of the scrotum- sebaceous cysts.
These are common in that area and you seem to get repeated ones.
A visit to a surgeon would do a lot of good to you.
If the cyst is infected- in which case it should contain pus- it needs to be incised and drained to let out the pus.
In case it is not infected, it can be removed by a minor surgical procedure under local anesthetic and can be discharged in a few hours.
Hope this helps.
Regards
