Suggest Treatment For A Painful Bump On The Vaginal Region

In the space between my inner thigh and vagina, there is a bump. It's causing me pain and now it has come up with a head of pus in which I am treating with a hot compress. Previously I had on tight panties that was actually digging in this spot. What could this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
The painful lump you refer to seems to be an infected lymph node- which got inflamed because of the tight fitting undergarment-itching-infection /infection of some part of leg/foot of same side./infection,inflammation of vaginal area.
A through examination by a doctor, investigation, specific treatment by antibiotic/anti inflammatory drugs will help.
Thanks.
