I have had a pea sized growth on my anus for a couple of months that i can remember, it is soft and not painful at all. I had it looked at during a routine exam and the doctor had thought it was a hemorrhoid, how long do they usually last? should i be concerned?
hemorrhoids are permanent unless you have it removed. although if there are no indications for removal, conservative and non-surgical management may be opted. if you observe the following symptoms, pain, bleeding, swelling or thrombosis of hemorrhoids, it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon for possible surgical management.
hope this helps.
good day!!
