Suggest Treatment For A Painful Lump On The Neck

Hi,,I found a dime sized lump on the left side of my neck above my collar bone.. it is not sore,when I touch I can move it around a bit.I will be scheduling an appointment with my doctor but waiting until Monday is just nerve wrecking..What might this be?Thank youT

Concerning your experience of a painful lump at the left side of your neck I am suggesting that you have the following differential diagnosis

Lipoma
Cellulitis
Myositis
Cervical tuberculous
Cervical Lymphadenopathy
Thyroglossal cyst
Lymphoma

In view of this please do the following test
Blood culture
Serum creatine kinase
Mantoux test
Biopsy
Lipid profile test

Meanwhile please see a surgeon specialist with the results and for further clinical evaluation as well as surgical interventional procedure
