Suggest Treatment For A Painful Lump On The Penis Shaft

I have a small pea sized lump on the side of my penis. Its not on the shaft, but on my mound beside my penis. It does not hurt and is really hard. I am concerned he about it as it showed up a couple days ago. At first I was worried it was a spider bite but can t find bite marks. I can not pop it and it hasn t gotten any bigger or smaller. I know it isnt due to an STD as well. Is this a sign of a skin disease or a cyst?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The small pea size lump on the side of the penis indicates sebaceous cyst most likely as benign skin lesion. There are no medicinal cure for the condition, and once confirmed with the clinical examination, a day care surgery on OPD basis is best recommended to cure it.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
