Suggest Treatment For A Painful Lump On The Perineum

Hi I have a very large painfull lump on my perineum had a baby 27 yrs ago which I had a severy vaginal tear requiring 54 stitches inside and out no problems until now I thought I had piles and have been given cream by my GP but on closer inspection the lump is clearly on my perineum I m so scared to go back to my GP as I don t want to have a operation can you please advise me what to do many thanks K B

Hi,

Lump what you are complaining of needs to be examined clinically to come to diagnosis what it is. Since you are complaining that it is associated with pain, it could have been probably infected.

Hence, you need to consult the Surgeon promptly for clinical evaluation and appropriate management. Further management as to by conservative means or by surgery can only be known after clinical evaluation.
