Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lump on throat which could be due to enlargement of cervical lymphnode. It could be due to other systemic conditions such as acid reflux, reactive hyperpleasia, lymphoid hyperplasia , any malignant pathology. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and go for examination. You should go for ultrasound study to find out extent of lesion. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump to find out the nature of lesion. You should take few preventive measures such as keep head side high and take small meals rather than large meal. You should not stay empty stomach for longer duration. You can start treatment after proper diagnosis. Maintain proper oral hygiene. Do warm saline gargles . Avoid excessive cold carbonated drinks.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
