I have a lump inside of my tongue. It is towards the front of my tongue about a centimeter left from the center. When it first started, my tongue swelled quite a bit (not to where I couldn t talk or breathe) and as I remember, it was a little achey. A few days to a week later the swelling went down, however it left behind this tiny lump about the size of a pea inside my tongue. I ve had this lump for almost a year and it doesn t hurt at all unless I really mess with it. I can feel it with my fingers or if I pinch it with my teeth. It seems to grow and shrink randomly. Not like a pulsation, more like 1 minute it ll be about the size of a large pea, and then a few minutes later it will have shrunk down about 40% in size, but it is always present and can always be felt no matter the size. I ve done a lot of research online and the only things I ve been able to find are for mouth cancer, but nobody seems to have my exact symptoms so I can t be sure. I should mention that I have been smoking and drinking for about 4 years (I m 22) but have since stopped doing both. Could really use some help figuring out what is wrong with me!
