Suggest Treatment For A Painful Rash On The Groin Area

I have developed a rash in my groin area. I am male and the last time I had something similar they said it was a yeast infection and gave me a lotion to use. I used the same lotion this time as I still had some, but now I itch under my knees and armpits.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a final infection. I suggest using an anti-fungal cream for local application such as Clotrimazole cream. I also suggest using Fluconazole 150 mg for three days. I recommend to maintain a good hygiene.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
