Suggest Treatment For A Recurring Ear Problem

my wife has a recurring ear problem involving earache a change in the sound of her voice to her when she speaks ,antibiotics have not eliminated it permanently.this has been a problem on &off for a year.Recently this has recurred .Added to it is a severe cough paroxyms of sneezing allergy otc have not been any help an air purifier did some good

hello, thanks for your query,with your history, I opine that you are suffering from allergic rhinitis, which is reactivating your ear infection leading to perforation in ear drum and deafness. first you need to do ct para nasal sinuses to rule out any allergic polyp. first correct your nose problem , so that your ear problem will rectify. visit an ent surgeon for proper evaluation and treatment. all the best. take care.
