Suggest Treatment For A Red Bump On The Eyelid

Hi, I have a red bump on my right eyelid that I believe I got from a bug bite. I ve had that bump for a month now and I was hoping it would have disappeared by now but it hasn t. I recently purchased Benadryl itch cream because of reviews I ve read online about it helping but it hasn t really disappeared. I didn t get a chance to put it yesterday so that didn t help my situation. What other options can I do to get rid of the red swelling on my right eyelid? Also, it has not once made my eye feel itchy but it s troublesome to have it there.

Thank you for your question!!
As you explain it might be an insect bite or hordeolum.
If a patient with this condition meet my clinic i would suggest he/she gets Tobra Dex ointment 3 times a day for the first week and then twice a day for another week.
If your eyes get dry try using eye lubricating drops in the morning.
I hope this helps.
Feel free to ask me again!
