Suggest Treatment For A Red Bump On The Pelvic Region

Hi, i am a 32 year old male, recently very sexually active with several partners. I noticed a red bump in my pelvic region about 5 days ago. The bump is located about an inch and a half above the base of my penis. It looks like an ingrown hair, but it's gotten bigger and a little painful when I touch it. It has not filled with yellow fluid or anything like that, it's just red. I do not have a fever. I am very worried and will visit a doctor tomorrow, but I would like to get a heads up on possible causes. Thank you!
