Suggest Treatment For A Reddish Rash On The Inner Elbow Despite Taking Steroid Shot

I have a red rash that has appeared for the last few days. It started on lyrics thigh and has spread along my left side, upper buttocks, both thighs, right inner elbow and back side of upper right arm. I had a steroid shot 2 days ago that helped with some of the itching but it still seems to be spreading. I m not sure what else to try since benadryl and the steroid shot hasn t completely helped.

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction.

I suggest using antihistamines daily such as Cetirizine.

I also suggest using Calamine lotion for local application.
