My 10 year old daughter had a softball game yesterday she was hit on the inside of her leg beside her knee.. she had slight pain with small bruise.. she went all day with normal activity and had practice earlier everything still fine she walked and ran no problems.. she put an ice pack on her bruise and about 45 mins after the side of her knee swoll up

The lesion developed after blunt injury to your daughter is most likely hematoma with ecchymosis.

I would advise...

- pain killer like nimesulide
- antibiotic to prevent secondary infection
- vitamin C tablets
- thrombophob oint

Still, you consult nearby doctor and have perfect treatment.
