Suggest Treatment For A Small Lump On The Neck

I have had a small lump on my neck for about 3 years, its smooth and I am able to move it when I move the skin on my neck. My PCP told me a year ago not to worry about it unless it becomes bothersome. Yesterday I woke up and the lump is tender and a little bit larger, could this be a sebaceous cyst?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have enlarged lymphnode. It can be due to reactive hyperplasia, tuberculosis, lymphoma or metastatic carcinoma. Or you may have sebaceous cyst or some benign cyst or soft tissue tumour. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
