Suggest Treatment For A Small Painful Lump On The Jaw Line

I had my root canal yesterday on my lower last jaw teeth on the right side. Now I am having a light pain in my right jaw line also can see and feel a small lump below the jaw on that RC'd teeth. And also when I slightly squeze that lump I can feel and here some fluid moving towards the teeth and my ear! Is that common?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the small lump under the jaw line with a recent history of having root canal treatment being in progress seems to be due to swollen lymph node under the jaw secondary to infection..

Pain in jaw can be due to pain radiating from the root canal treated tooth as the canals might have not been completely cleaned ad disinfected..
There can also be some pus still present below the root tips of the tooth that might be putting pressure over the tooth causing pain..

Consult with your dentist, get proper cleaning done followed by placement of antiseptic dressing in the root canals followed by a course of antibiotics and painkillers for faster resolution of infection...

Hope this helps..

Regards..
