Suggest Treatment For A Small Tear On My Left ACL

I have a small tear on my left acl, had several knee surgeries for tears on my meniscus and have little to none on the outside of my left knee. I have noticed my left pinky toe has been becoming itchy several times a day for about the last month. My A-1C # is 5.2. This itch is just irritating

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If there is redness other than itchiness on your toe then a fungal infection should be considered and miconazole cream can be applied to the area twice a day for 1-2 weeks. Try to wear cotton socks and avoid very tight shoes or shoes that do not breathe.

If you are not better with this in a few days then it is best to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
