The left side left side of my throat is very tender to the touch it feels like a little pea size of something in there and is now starting to hurt when swallowed its like I have a sore muscle about 3 inchs long...Why? I thought maybe it was due to the neck injury from a car wreck a couple years ago that was never seen about
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore lump on the throat which could be due to granular pharyngitis, sore throat, enlargement of cervical lymph node and due to other systemic conditions such as reactive hyperpleasia, lymphoid hyperplasia , any malignant pathology. Need not to worry. Maintain proper oral hygiene. Do warm saline gargles . Avoid excessive cold carbonated drinks. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and go for examination and ultrasound study to find out extent of lesion. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump to find out the nature of lesion. You can start treatment after proper diagnosis. Take proper course of antibiotics to suppress level of infection.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
