I have a stubborn sty in my right eye. I have some leftover Tobradex eye ointment with expiration date of March 2015. Manufacturer says it may not work, but I m on vacation and don t really want to go to local doctor or pay for new prescription. As I recall, it s one that they really gouged me for.... What s your opinion?

If you really do not want to visit a doctor, then you may go ahead with this eye drop. Antibiotic eye drop will start showing an effect in a day or two days.
