Suggest Treatment For A Swelling On The Shin Caused By A Fall

i fell on my concrete stairs six days ago. i scraped my entire shin and have a bruise on my knee, and entire lenght of shin,with a large egg on upper shin as well as swelling down the shin.six days later majority of swelling is down the remaining swelling is where the egg was. the entire shin is sensitive to touch with the egg area still very sore and painful to touch. the bruise is starting to fade from the center but seems to be spreading. is this normal?
