Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain ias you bumped your leg and there is golf ball sized soft lump and bruising it is due to
soft tissue injury and there is also rupture of blood vessels and the blood gets spilled into soft tissues leading to bruising and hematoma formation..
At times Hematoma gets localized and there is formation of a firm mass..
In case of you are not able to put weight over the leg or there is
severe pain on walking there can be a
bone fracture..
I would suggest you to consult an Orthopedician and get evaluated and an x ray can be done for confirmation..
In case of bony fracture reduction of broken fragments followed by a cast or splint can help..
In case of only soft tissue injury doing cool compresses, taking anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, apply Heparin gel to regress the Hematoma and fade bruising faster..
You can also apply
analgesic and
muscle relaxant gel or spray and tie crape bandage..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
