Suggest Treatment For A Swollen Elbow

hi i fell yeaterday landing on my elbow my which is very swollen i can not bend or straighten my arm

i have been to the hospital who have done xrays and the doctor said there is no obvious break or fracture and put my arm in a sling the pain seems to be gettting worse



She also said that my xray will be reviewed in a few days to make sure there is no break



Could the swelling cause them not to notice a break/fracture at first?

Also when i was getting xrayed i could not straighten my arm resulting in them not being able to get an exact xray of my arm lying flat could my arm being bent hide a break/fracture
