Suggest Treatment For A Trapped Nerve In Neck

I have a trapped nerve in my neck, right side and my right eye is also bloodshot. I am using a therapeutic heat pad on my neck and rotating that with hot towels on my neck. Also taking advil. I hope to get a massage after work today. Is there anything else I should or should not be doing? I am a 37yr old female w no allergies or medical problems
