Suggest Treatment For A Vaginal Infection Contracted Post An Intercourse

I had sex with my boyfriend a week ago and after the sex my vagina and peri area stung a little bit. Days later it started to itch so I look down there and noticed a flesh colored bump. I put anti itch cream down there. A day later I noticed another bump this bump was very small. They both are starting to irritate me what could this be? Pimples I heard that but would they itch and burn?
