Suggest Treatment For Abdominal And Lower Back Pain

I removed a lost tampon this morning after removing one I knew was there. I have had extreme off and on bouts of abdominal and lower back pain since taking it out. No fever. I am not sure how long it was in there but probably no longer than 48-72 hrs. What should I do? The pain is scaring me.

Hello,

The pain could be because the tampon was left in too long. However, please keep an eye on any signs of infection like fever, worsening pain, etc. If so, follow up with the emergency room.

Hope this answers query
