Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Bloating And Weight Gain

I have just had an op for a prolapsed bladder. For the past 3 months I have gained nearly 10kgs. I am a very active person who never wants to sit still. My stomach feels tight and bloated every time I eat something. I don t know what is going on? I have had colonoscopies and nothing was found. I can never empty my bowels fully. Am on laxatives to take orally and anaemas but nothing seems to be working. My kidney functions are fine apart from a small kidney stone in the left, liver is working too. Is there anything else to do as I keep asking my doc for processes of elimination to find out why I am gaining so much weight when all my life I have been between 49 & 52 kgs, now I am 60.3 kgs. and I feel awful. Hope you can give me some idea of what I may be dealing with. Thanking you, Christine.

Hi,

Avoid solid foods for a few hours in favor of softer, bland foods such as rice or applesauce. Try taking over-the-counter gas-reducing medications, such as Simethicone drops or digestive enzymes, to help relieve bloating.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
