Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Cramps

I have been experiencing waves of cramping in my abdomen for 2 days. I have not had a bowel movement in that length of time. Highly unusual, as I am always regular once a day (AM). I am a 70 yr. old woman in good health. What can I do to remedy this, other than the 2 laxatives I took this morning.

Hello,

I think you can initially change your diet adding more fruits and vegetables, water and fibers. You can add prune, kiwi in your diet. Then you can use sena leaves tea before sleep. If you still don't get on your regular intervals then you should get further evaluated doing a total blood count, abdominal ultrasound and possibly colonoscopy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
