Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain And Appendix Inflammation

I have abdominal pain and went to see a doctor. After CT and consultancy, Doctor diagnosed that I had an inflammation on the appendix and suggested to have an appendectomy. I got 2 options: IV or surgery. I took 1 IV and took some antibiotics. I have no more pain. But I am worried that if I don t take care of the appendix now I might get serious issue later on with the appendix like appendix rupture. What is the likelihood that this could happen?

Hello
You are having appendicitis but with the use of antibiotics it treated .
Now your main concern is in future it may rupture, BUT why are you worrying , why it will rupture . Whenever ,you feel pain on the site of appendix take immediate treatment .
Still I remember a case in 1993 had appendicitis and I treated with antibiotics and she never get inflammation again even after 22 years .
Other cases are also , sometimes if treated completely inflammation never occurs .
