Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain And Pus From Navel
I was in hospital a week ago because of pain in abdomen especially around belly button. I was given a ct scan and then put on antibiotics. I have pus coming out my belly button every day and the very middle of it looks red and swollen. The antibiotics have worked, but I m just a few days from running out of antibiotics and I still have a lot of pus coming out of my belly button. I also have some pain in my abdomen when I urinate, particularly as I get close to finishing. Also, when I try to arch my back it hurts my abdomen too much. Was I misdiagnosed? If so, what could this be?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if it is the puss formation in umbilical region then possibility of fistula need to be ruled out, this is the surgical condition, better way is to explore the wound and drain the puss and then proper antibiotic need to be given, then it will be cured, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
