Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain And Vomiting

Hi doctor, my son has been feeling unwell for about 6 weeks. His symptoms are weakness, serve pains in his lower abdomen and he sometimes vomits, he also complains of pains in his chest and legs. He has been examined by the gp and he could he not find anything only that his stomach muscles are very tight. He has done blood tests and came back showing his thyroid levels are slightly high and his ferritin levels are low. He is 14yrs old Very slim and doesn t have the best diet, but due to the pains this is getting worse and he has lost weight that he can t really afford to. The doctor has given him bascopan and mebeveine, he still gets the symptoms of weakness and vomiting with pain but doesn t last as long. Is there anything we should be doing to help this?

Well come to HCM
Chances of Gastritis may likely either because of virus or protozoa infection and such condition can be treated with anti protozoa drug on tentative basis this treatment can be tried and the drugs of choice would be.
1) Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for 5 days
2) Tab Dicyclomine as per needed for abdominal pain
3) Tab Domperidone 30 mg for vomiting as per needed
if symptoms does not improved then stool culture sensitivity advisable, take care and have a nice day.
