Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain During Pregnancy After An Injury

I am 18 and 4 months months pregnant and just had a huge argument with my boyfriend and during the argument he pushed a door open really hard and the handle went straight into my stomach now half an hour later im having shart short bursts of pain. Should i go to hospital?

Any time there is a blow to the abdomen in a pregnant woman, there is the possibility of injury at the site that the placenta is implanted. This can lead to bleeding under the placenta, called a placental abruption. You must seek care immediately to assess the fetus and make sure that there is no concern regarding the pregnancy. At that time, an ultrasound can determine the location of the placenta and if there is any concern regarding the location of the blow and the location of the placenta.
