Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Ulcers While On Enbrel

My wife has been treating RA with Enbrel for over 10years. Stomach pain is a side effect and she now has active ulcers that are not healing. Looking for an RA treatment that will allow ulcers to heal. Skin cancer surgery in the past would not heal until she stopped taking Enbrel. We are of the opinion the same is true with these ulcers.

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your wife.

As the said medicine Enbrel causes the immunosuppression that intern leads to the delayed wound healing. Because ulcers are pathologic wounds also needs the same environment to heal or even better then surgical wounds.

So it can be the cause of delayed abdominal or gastric ulcer.
Hope the answer to your query. In case of any kind of further assistance write to us we will be happy to help.

Regards
Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
