Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Ulcers

Hi . I m trying for baby and i had ulcer in my stomach .i had medicine for 2 months and i got better and i think i m pregnant now .i m waiting for my period which is due on the 7th .and i been having ulcer pain again in my stomach since today morning .so is that gunna be any problem with my pregnanacy .?

Hello,

No, even if you have acid peptic disease or ulcers, the pregnancy can go on without any issues.

If you are pregnant, the problem of indigestion and heartburn would increase, as the pregnancy progresses.

So make dietary changes, take small frequent meals, avoid fatty meals, avoid junk, have plentiful water, abstain from alcohol, tea, coffee and spicy food.

You can take Ranitidine tablet twice a day, empty stomach. It would not harm the embryo,if at all it is developing.
