Suggest Treatment For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding While Having Endometrial Hyperplasia

I am 54 yr female with 4.5 weeks of menstrual flow. I usually have regular 28 day cycles. My ultrasound exam said I had endometrial hyperplasia. I also was recently told by my dentist that my gums were abnormal and to go see my primary MD I am scheduled for an endometrial biopsy in one week. Could this be leukemia? Could endometrial cancer cause gum issues? Can female hormones cause gum irregularities?

Hello,

Thanks for asking a question at HCM

I will be glad to answer it for you

Endometrial hyperplasia, and hormonal abnormality is not related to gum issues.

Both are different problems.

You need to see the dentist for gum problems.

For Endometrial hyperplasia treatment depends on the result of biopsy. If biopsy states the endometrial tissue is simple or complex you may treated with progestins.

If it is complex atypia or simple atypia, then you may be suggested hysterecomy.

Hope this helps

Best Regards
