Suggest Treatment For Accidental Removal Of Cast And Cut On Finger

I got a cast on 2 of my fingers 5 weeks ago and within the 1st couple of days I took one off because it was hurting and noticed that it had cut my finger - it has not healed & is a little red. I was supposed to leave the cast on for 6-8 weeks - what should I do?

Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum

In short: You need to take x-ray to say whether to continue cast or not

Explanation: If the cut was due to cast then you have done the right thing. BUt you should have told the doctor about this. NO problem, please go to your doctor he will put another one if needed after treating your cut. Hope this helps you.DO let me know.
