Suggest Treatment For Accidental Splashing Of Gasoline Into Eyes And Nose

My son-in-law slipped with a can of gasoline in his hands and it splashed in his eyes, up his nose and all over his face. He has a splitting headache now. He rinsed his eyes with water for about 5 minutes, put coconut oil on his skin as well as some peppermint and stress away essential oil on his skin. What else should he do? He is also finding the neti pot to rinse out his nose.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi..
Thanks for writing to HCM..
As he has already washed his eyes, He can use some lubricating eye drops for relief..
He must consult an ophthalmologist as soon as possible to rule out any possible chemical injury to the ocular surface..
He can apply ointment which contains silver sulfadiazine over the skin...
Consult a surgeon for any burns over a face..
Take care...
