Suggest Treatment For Aches And Muscle Weakness
Hi, my close friend is 75 years of age, has emphysema and osteo and rheumatoid arthritis. Uses a walker always. She lives is Safety Beach NSW, warm climate, but we are expecting it to rain tomorrow. Weather mild now, and today has been a beautiful day. She has been in bed all day....has been very, very cold and but now feels a bit more comfortable. She is aching all over, except for feet and has muscular weakness....feels she may fall if she tries to walk. She does not want to go to hospital. What can I do to help her?

Hello,
The symptoms seem to be related to rheumatoid arthritis. I suggest to use anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen three tablets a day.
I also recommend warm showers for relief.
