Suggest Treatment For Acne After Completing Anti Tb Drugs

doc, im really really depressed because of acne u see im take anti tb drugs which im finished last 3 months but acne is still their, im really getting to the point of taking accutane which strictly not on my parents side. is this for a life time? this acnes only occured during my treatment and after, god knows how thankful i am if u can answer this or have alternative choices for me. thank u so much

Hi,

You seem to have isoniazide induced acneiform eruptions on the trunk. Do not worry. After stopping the AKT the lesions might heal gradually. To fasten the clearance of acne lesions, you may take vitamin A cap like cap aquasol A thrice a day till you get benefit. Or you take synthetic vitamin A derivative like isotretinoin 10 mg daily. But if you get side effect like chelitis, you stop it. You may add vitamin E cap 400 mg daily. You might improve in few weeks to few months.
