Hi Palak,

Acne vulgaris is a multifactorial disease. Stress, anxiety, tension, oily food, dandruff, sunexposure,sleeplessness..etc may precipitate or exacerbate the disease. There may be genetic tendency also. Your skin might be oily. I usually advise in my patients as follow..

- antibitic like minocycline cap 50 mg in morning
- isotretinoin cap 5 mg at night
- to apply clindamycine gel at night on lesions
- cleanse the face with antiseptic facewash like acmed face wash
- avoid stress and tension, have good sleep..

You might get good result with above hints after consulting dermatologist.

Thanks.
