Hi,

Acne on the eyelid can be a cause of concern as it is located near the eye, and any infection can lead to serious eye problems. Here are a few suggestions for the treatment of acne on the eyelid:
* Cleanse the affected area: Gently clean the area with a mild cleanser or soap and water to prevent the spread of bacteria. Avoid using harsh products that can irritate the delicate skin around the eye.
* Apply a warm compress: A warm water soaked washcloth can be placed at the affected area for 10-15 minutes. This can help reduce inflammation and swelling.
* Topical acne treatment: You have already applied a topical agent for acne, which is a good step. Topical treatments that contain benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, or retinoids can help clear acne on the eyelid.
* Avoid touching or picking at the acne: Touching the affected area or trying to pop the acne can cause further inflammation and increase the risk of infection.
* Consult an eye doctor or dermatologist: If the acne does not improve or worsen, it is best to consult a doctor. They may prescribe topical or oral medications, or suggest other treatments such as chemical peels or laser therapy.

In summary, to treat acne on the eyelid, it is important to keep the area clean, apply warm compresses, use topical acne treatment, avoid touching the area, and seek medical attention if necessary.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
