It is quite common to have acne persisting into 2nd Or 3 rd decade. You seem to have inflammatory acne. If I was the treating doctor I would normally start my patients of inflammatory acne on one of the oral antibiotics e.g either doxycycline/ minocycline Or lymecycline. I would also suggest topical application of an antiacne antibacterial e.g either benzoyl peroxide Or clindamycin gel Or nadifloxacin gel for active inflammatory acne. You are also a candidate for Oral retinoids i.e Isotretinoin. Oral retinoids are the best drug even for the worst type of acne and are antiinflamatory, comedolytic as well as sebostatic i.e decrease sebum production. I suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your region for the needful, rather than trying home remedies.
Regards
