Suggest Treatment For Acne On The Legs

I have red spots with a very small white center on my lower legs. Right now I have about 9 spots in all on one leg and a couple on the other leg. They do itch and I just got home from working a 12 hour day in very hot humid conditions in a plant. I ve never had anything like this before. What can it be?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

You seem to have superficial folliculitis. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. However,I would suggest as follow..

- antibitiotics like cefuroxime 200 mg twice a day for one week
- anti inflammatory drugs like nimesulide 200 mg twice a day for one week
- apply antibiotic cream
- to relieve itch take antihistaminics
- avoid soap bath
- cleanse the area with dettol liq in water

I hope this would help you..

Thanks.
