Suggest Treatment For Acne Problem On Back

I have a lot of back acne and my doctor suggested that I wash my back with Perobar 2.5% and use Benzac AC gel 2.5% But i noticed that my skin cannot handle the Benzoil Peroxide and the skin has become red. I have immediately stopped using the cream. Is there any other lighter cream which I can use for the back acne?

Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

If you cannot tolerate Benzoil Peroxide, you can apply:
- iodine solution
- and antibiotic cream (containing tetracyclin or gentamycin) locally.

I advise to consult with your doctor about starting oral antibiotics (usually erythromycin) as you might have a systemic infection reflected as back acne.

Hope it was of help!
