Suggest Treatment For Acne Scars And Hyper Pigmentation On The Forehead And Temples

Hi I had been suffering with acne from the age of 13 till 25, during this time, I ended up having acne scars throughout my face, however the major damage is on the temples, the part that bothers me is the hyperpigmentation on the forehead and temples (very dark). Is there is remedy for this?

Hi!! You are suffering from the long term side effects of acne. You should apply high spf sunscreen in gel formulation on your entire face at intervals of 3-4 hours during the day time and cream containing hydroquinone 4 percent over the pigmentation only at night. As far as your scars are concerned you will have to undergo certain procedures like microneedling or laser treatment or surgical procedure, the decision regarding which can be taken only after seeing you in person. Moreover avoid sun exposure and make use of umbrella, sunglasses and caps while going out in sun.
