Suggest Treatment For Acne Spots

Hello! I really need to ask something about my problem! It s like I have got pimple spots on my face and my back! It s acne spots I think! But the thing that I have used clin 3 and I have took an antibiotic which my doctor in India suggested! It worked. However, I live in uk and this weather (winter) really is getting for my skin! Got clin 3 soap and the tube but it s not doing anything at all! My face & back gets so itchy at times like when the radiators are on and when it is very warm I tend to get more spots in that kind of situation! Moreover, I always wash my face with the cold water but I guess that s making it more worse as the winter s arrving. Since, I have come back, the spots are just getting worse and worse! It s stressing me out proper. I really need an advice from a doctor! Please..

Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Acne is recurrent and a chronic skin problem. Weather, stress, diet and oily cosmetics may play a role in exacerbating acne.
You seem to have a flare up and topical's alone would not take effective control of your acne.
I would suggest Oral antiacne treatment in the form of either Oral antibiotics e.g Lymecycline, Minocycline Or Azithromycin etc Or Oral treatment with Retinoids i.e Isotretinoin.
Oral treatment with antibiotics is specially indicated for inflammatory acne flare i.e acne that is red, painful or pustular.
Oral Retinoids e.g Isotretinoin are useful for severe acne, acne difficult to treat traditional antiacne medications Or acne that is associated with scaring.
Topically you may use clindamycin Or benzoyl peroxide gel for active acne on face and back.
I suggest you to visit a dermatologist in your region. Your dermatologist will assess the severity of your acne and advice accordingly.

Regards
