Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Acne is common at your age. It is chronic and recurrent and can last for years and even decades.
The cream that you plan to use is absolutely contraindicated for acne and acne spots. It is a potent topical steroid and regular use of it may rather cause more acne.
If I was the treating doctor I would have asked you to use either topical clindamycin or benzoyl peroxide over active acne during day time.
At night you may use a topical retinoid e.g adapalene over the whole affected area. Retinoids are comedolytic and therefore in addition to treating existing acne, retinoids also prevent new acne formation.
Retinoids also help lighten the dark spots left over by acne.
I will suggest you to visit a dermatologist in your region for the needful. Your dermatologist may also start you on Oral antibiotics e.g doxycycline, if your acne is inflammatory.
You may also opt for a few sessions of chemical peeling, if suggested by your dermatologist. Salicylic acid peel is good for both acne as well as acne spots.

Regards
