Suggest Treatment For Acne

I underwent a d&c on 1st dec due to a missed abortion since then I have been experiencing acne have taken minoz od 100 and apply clindac a gel but I still have stubborn acne and it's painful we are soon going to plan a baby again pls help with due course of action

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Since you are Trying and Expecting to become pregnant, therefore I would suggest that you discontinue with Minoz 100, as it is not advisable to be taken during pregnancy.

If antibiotics are required in your case, then Oral Azithromycin would be a better option, as it is safe in pregnancy

If I was the treating doctor I would have asked you to apply a combination of clindamycin+benzoyl peroxide gel, twice daily, which is available on prescription of a dermatologist.

A gentle cleanser like cetaphil cleansing lotion is ideal for cleansing of acne prone skin.
